Starway expect from partners to believe in success of international student exchange. They understand our mission and work for the prosperity of Student Exchange Programs.
We are always open to cooperate with agencies specialized in work exchange programs, organizations with a background in the area of educational exchange and other non-profit organizations, Schools and Universities whose students wish to gain experience in the United States and all organizations open to promote Starway activities.
Partners should be familiar with the student communities in their countries, with the university regulations and educational system, with the embassy requirements, specific market features, etc.
Our partners are obligated to follow Starway policy, Agent’s Manual and government regulations. We believe that with mutual respect we can achieve much more.
Responsibilities
Unlike other companies, we have tendency to involve actively our agents in every step of the Exchange Visitor Program. From recruitment to the visa application, from the orientation and the support during the period of the program to the return of the students, as a Starway partner you will be involved in Exchange Visitor Programs.
The following list is part of responsibilities for each partner:
Partner will promote Exchange Visitor Programs between university students.
Partner will recruit potential participants. This will include collecting students’ applications, verifying their student status, testing their English language abilities, verifying proof of financial responsibilities and background check and reviewing the job confirmations for the self-arranged participants.
Partner will organize a home country orientation for all participants. Starway will provide all necessary documentation and instruction and we will also send our representatives to attend this orientation meeting if necessary. Orientation topics include program rules, DS-2019 and J-1 visa regulations, arrival procedures, work expectations, employee responsibilities, housing options, rules and guidelines, financial responsibilities, taxation and documentation and US laws
Partner will help in the visa application process and traveling arrangements.
Partner will be in constant communication with Starway and provide support for the participants while they are in the USA.
Partner will welcome the students at the end of the USA Work & Travel Program; assist with collecting feedback and evaluation of their experience! In this way Starway and our partners help each other in improving the program every year!
Starway support
Starway provides our Partner Agents with all necessary information, materials and support for promoting and successfully managing the Exchange Visitor Program. Our partners can rely on receiving assistance in the following areas:
Placement – We will thoroughly go over students profiles in order to meet their interests as best as we can, while we customize international placement.
Orientation – Since there are many things that students will find different than in their home countries, we will provide an overview of program regulations, culture shock, placement expectations, work ethics, emergency contacts, social security procedures and insurance information.
Communication – This is a key! With regular feedbacks and program evaluations, we will continue to make changes and grow.
Housing – We will help locate and provide housing details to ensure our participants a quick and easy adjustment to life abroad.
24 / 7 Assistance – We and our partners in U.S. are dedicated to providing day-to-day assistance. We provide our employers, participants and partners with a 24-hour emergency hotline. We are available any time in case of an emergency.
Paperwork – We provide complete paperwork assistance from the application to the visa documentation.
Insurance – All participants receive full health/travel insurance coverage.
Embassy and Consulate – We will assist you in building long and lasting relationship with Embassy officials to make the visa process easier.
Relationship – We are available to you every step of the way as we build strong enough business relationship, while we are working hard to fulfill the expectations of our employers, partners and participants.
